
ZTE released the Nubia Pad 3D tablet this week on the Dutch and Belgian markets. The unique tablet has a 3D screen and is able to convert 2D images to 3D images.
The Nubia Pad 3D is based on a prototype from the Leia company and uses face tracking to adjust the images on the screen according to the user’s location. This LCD screen is 12.4 inches in size and has a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. The tablet comes pre-installed with Leia video chat apps, a 3D photo gallery, a 3D video viewer and the LeiaTube app. The LeiaTube app converts YouTube videos into a 3D version.
Internally we also find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 8GB or 12GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB storage space and a 9070mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The housing consists of metal and the tablet gets a suggested retail price of 1299 euros.
