TrainMore opens brand new gym at Scheldeplein in Amsterdam

Amsterdam, March 20, 2023. On April 11, TrainMore, part of Urban Gym Group, a new club in Amsterdam, will open the 17th TrainMore gym in Amsterdam. TrainMore Scheldeplein will be the fifth Black Label club of the fast-growing fitness chain.

Neil Randall, CEO of TrainMore said: “We are very excited about this new club and look forward to bringing our community the latest equipment available today. There is also a large room in this club specially intended for personal training. Since last week we started with the presales. The enthusiastic responses show that this part of the city, Amsterdam Zuid/Rivierenbuurt, was waiting for a high-end fitness club.”

TrainMore is the only gym where gym visitors receive a euro discount on their membership per training. TrainMore, with clubs throughout the Netherlands, is also known for its focus on art, music, design and community building. This is reflected in live DJ evenings and collaborations with artists. Marjolijn Meijer, founder and vice-chairman of Urban Gym Group, previously announced Urban Gym Group’s growth strategy: “We are interested in talking to fitness clubs in Amsterdam or other major cities in the country. We are in talks with clubs where we can continue the existing activities and are also in contact with property owners who have large buildings where gyms can be opened.”

TrainMore Amsterdam Scheldeplein Black Label will open its doors on April 11. Members can also exercise at all regular TrainMore clubs. Black Label services are included, such as advice and small group training from fitness instructors, protein shakes, sports water, coffee and tea. Anyone who registers for the opening will receive a free membership until July 1 and can get acquainted with the range of the nearby wellbeing studio Renessence. They are also invited to the VIP opening event. New at this TrainMore location is a collaboration with Wild & The Moon (a French plant-based lifestyle concept) with organic, gluten-free and plastic-free juices, smoothies, snacks, superfoods and holistic products.
