From Sunday 19 to Wednesday 22 November, Horeca Expo, the Belgian trade fair for the hospitality industry, industrial kitchens & food stores, will once again take over the 8 halls of Flanders Expo. Catering professionals get the chance to get in touch with almost 600 exhibitors. They meet both established A-brands and innovative, new players on the market who provide a high-quality total offer. Of course, this year’s fair will also feature a few highlights and innovative topics!
NEW ~ BAKERY & BREAKFAST IN HALL 2
Hall 2 is bathed in a warm and sweet atmosphere. However, the emphasis will not only be on coffee, tea, sweet and ice cream, but also on bakery and breakfast. And this in terms of products, equipment and accessories. The wide range is aimed at a wide range of catering establishments: from coffee bars and restaurants, to the hotel industry and industrial kitchens.
NEW ~ HOTEL & HOSPITALITY IN HALL 3
During Horeca Expo 2023, Hall 3 focuses on owners and employees of hotels, B&Bs and operators of other accommodation. They discover a total offer that covers all hotel aspects: from the sleeping and sitting area, over the bathroom to the lobby, the bar and the restaurant. Furniture, equipment, decoration and accessories can be found there.

HORECA EXPO – MORE THAN A TRADE FAIR
In addition to the wide range of exhibitors, there is of course a focus on strong content. The Competition Kitchen in hall 8 is the stage for numerous demos and important culinary competitions such as the Belgian Bocuse d’Or Selection, Young Talent Trophée Auguste Escoffier Benelux and the Fish Chef of the Year. In the Flex seminar room and the Skylounge there is an extensive range of seminars and events during this top four days.

INNOVATION AWARDS & PROMISING STARTERS
The Innovation Awards once again honor the most innovative exhibitors. A professional jury selects the winners within 6 categories: food, beverages, technology, kitchen equipment, furniture & decoration and sustainability. Visitors also get a voice. They decide who takes home the Visitor’s Choice.
Traditionally, promising starters are still put in the spotlight. They will be given the opportunity to introduce their new products to the market in Hall 4.
CHEF’S PLACE
In hall 8, Chef’s Place forms a unique experience zone in an attractive setting where a select number of exhibitors offer a top range of delicacies, drinks, tableware and decoration. Everything revolves around the essence of the product: pure, honest and top. Extra attention is paid to terroir and products with a local approach, responding to the increasing attention for the local footprint and the short chain.

The Masterclasses, on the other hand, offer the opportunity to closely follow the latest trends and techniques of top chefs, with due attention to the harmony between the dish and accompanying drinks. This annual networking moment is only accessible by invitation.
