Six Samsung devices are being updated with a major update. Not only do we see the April security update, other improvements have also been made by the South Korean manufacturer.
Update for S20 and S21
A major update is ready for the devices from the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 series. A total of six models will be updated with April 2023 security update. This is the latest security patch released by Google. On top of these patches, the manufacturer has also added improvements in the form of its own patches. In addition, this update brings even more.
In the changelog, the necessary improvements are reported, which have to do with the camera and the gallery. This means that the major update previously for the Galaxy S22 series is now also for Samsung’s previously released devices. A new feature that we saw earlier on the Galaxy S23 series is Image Clipper. You can now also use this function on the Galaxy S20 and S21 series. By pressing and holding an object with your finger in the gallery app, this subject is cut out, as it were, after which you can send it separately from the photo, for example as a sticker.
The update is now being rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, the Galaxy S21, S21+ and the S21 Ultra. The FE models are coming soon. When you can download the update, you will receive a notification on your device.
