At booth 6B81, Precor will showcase the new StairClimber, designed for exercisers of all sizes and fitness levels. The StairClimber is part of the 800 line and is available in Black Pearl or Storm Gray. The cardio machine features easy-to-use entry and exit platforms, patented Dynamic Step Control that generates a constant cadence adapted to the size and speed of the exerciser, and an impressive cadence range of 20 to 165 steps per minute.
“Innovation is in Precor’s DNA; we developed the world’s first elliptical cross trainer and the world’s first adaptive motion trainer, and we were also the first to invent the quick start button,” said Frank O’Rourke, senior vice president of global sales at Precor.
“The FIBO attendees will be the first to see how we use new technologies to develop next-generation products, all designed to meet the needs of our customers and our customers’ customers. Precor is showcasing its new StairClimber at FIBO 2023, offering one lucky attendee the chance to win one.”
Precor has more than 40 years of experience manufacturing and supplying commercial fitness equipment with more than one billion workouts in more than 100 countries.
Precor’s unique approach to design and development puts both the user and the athlete first. Data-driven development and extensive laboratory and field testing ensure the best durability, ergonomics and serviceability.
O’Rourke states: “Quality is our top priority. Precor engineers and product development teams have developed the best designs and systems to ensure we deliver the highest quality products. It’s what sets us apart, and one of the reasons we don’t rush products to market: we need to make sure they can withstand the toughest conditions around the world. If they don’t succeed, they simply won’t go into production.”
Precor’s new StairClimber has undergone rigorous testing prior to release, including 30 individual reports and more than 10,000 hours of lab and field testing. This included endurance testing with more than 10 million steps without fail and daily spraying with a liter of saline for more than two months.
Launched in 2020, Precor’s Resolute Strength line will also be featured at FIBO 2023. The collection includes 21 machines: 10 for the upper body, eight for the lower body, and three for the core. More than 200 customers and industry leaders were involved in a pre-market study, and each product in the line has been field-tested for more than a year—longer than any other product in Precor’s history. That included five months of non-stop heavy lifting, testing each product to 6 times the total load of the weight stack, and going through more than 1.2 million cycles of durability testing on the vinyl pads.
O’Rourke continues, “We are very excited about our participation in FIBO and even more so about the future of Precor. To see our new innovation, you have to come by the booth! One thing I can say for sure is that Precor will get back to doing what it does best, which is producing reliable commercial fitness equipment and meeting the needs of our customers through a comprehensive, hands-on and consultative partnership approach.”
The manufacturer and supplier of premium fitness equipment is also hosting a contest to win one of its brand new StairClimbers, and attendees will have the opportunity to name Precor’s newly appointed CEO, Dustin Grosz, and Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Frank O’ to meet.
