King’s Day is one of those days when it’s okay to be reasonably well oiled before midnight. That is why it is useful to know in advance how and especially where you will celebrate Prince Pils’ birthday. At a festival of course! And to help you on your way, we have made a list of the coolest festivals that will take place on King’s Day 2023!
Loveland of Orange
King’s Day is one of the biggest celebrations on the Dutch calendar, so it’s more than fitting for the team behind Loveland to host the brilliant Loveland Van Oranje festival and keep to the tradition.
An imaginative world with carnival rides and cotton candy, gigantic skipping ropes and special outfits, and crystal clear sound systems that blow the grounds in Amsterdam with the music of the grand mainstage. All this in combination with a very nice line-up, this is a very nice party to toast to Prince Pils.
Free Your Mind Kingsday
Free Your Mind celebrates its 20th anniversary this year with a number of great festivals, including one during King’s Day at Breda Airport. Artists including Reinier Zonneveld, Kiki Solvej, Nico Mereno B2B Dyen, Speedy J will take the stage to celebrate the King’s birthday together with 25,000 visitors.
King’s Day 2023 is a very special day for Oranjekade. Because in addition to our Willy’s birthday, they also celebrate the fifth edition of Oranjekade Festival. This Bossche festival is that great King’s Day celebration that does it just that little bit differently. With three stages, from techno to hip hop and a good dose of guitar music.
Oranjebitter is the most out of hand house party in Rotterdam and this year is already the 13th edition. The location is different this year than other years, because they have moved to the Roel Langerakpark.
At Oranjebitter it’s only about one thing and that’s PARTY, but a quality party. With lots of classics, house, and 90s, indie, disco and hip-hop. The spectacular food line-up is also worth a visit for many people.
Kingsland Festival is not only the largest music festival during King’s Day, but also the largest one-day music festival in the Netherlands. The very first edition took place in Amsterdam in 2013, but this year you can enjoy this great party in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Groningen.
Visitors can enjoy different music styles at Kingsland Festival, varying per city. From EDM, eclectic, hardstyle, deephouse to techno, provided by the biggest artists of the moment on various stages.
Orange Blossom will also take place again in 2023 in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. During Orange Blossom you can enjoy alternative dance music with a Dutch touch.
Dutch DJs will be supplemented by acts from abroad who will take over all stages together. That promises a golden party with historical content!
