After the beating against Sittard last week, HTTV-070 successfully straightened its back against ‘t Markiezaat. After a surprising 4-1 score and a number of thriller matches, the team from The Hague secured their second victory in three games 6-4.
Big man was once again Sjoerd Vaders with three victories, of which 14-12 in the 5th game against former Eredivisie player Nermin Smajic. With this he seems to be over the small slump he had in the previous weeks.
After Pieter Rijnders had the big bad luck with 16-14 in the 5th game against Peter Stolk, it was up to Charlie Vierling to keep the points in The Hague. He did that with verve and thus confirmed his good form of the last few weeks.
It will not help the residents of The Hague in the relegation battle, but the last four games have shown that they can certainly compete at this level. And with a little more training work here and there and a little more mental resistance, that will certainly happen in the near future.
A nice extra for the club is that the second team has already been promoted to the big league and team 3 has the chance to promote to the 1st class on Monday
