HTC is a brand that we haven’t written about very often in recent years. While HTC was once a strong player in the smartphone market, the Taiwanese manufacturer has been pushed into the background by brands such as Samsung, Xiaomi and OPPO. Yet every now and then a new HTC smartphone appears on the market. We are now introduced to the HTC Wildfire E3 Lite.
The HTC Wildfire E3 Lite is a budget smartphone for the African market and is the successor to the Wildfire E3, which appeared on the market two years ago. The Wildfire E3 Lite has a 6.5-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution of 1600×720 pixels, a Unisoc SC9863 processor, 3GB or 4GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB storage space, a 5000 mAh battery, a 5MP selfie camera and a double rear camera with a 13MP and 2MP lens. The smartphone still runs on Android 12. We do not yet have a suggested retail price and release date.
HTC no longer makes its smartphones itself. Instead, other companies may market smartphones under the HTC brand name. It is the first HTC smartphone since last summer.
