The publication of ChatGPT forces Google to develop new technology more quickly. According to the NY Times, the group is even working on a completely new search engine.
Sources from the New York Times say that there is a two-track policy. The first track consists of creating and adding new features to the existing search engine. Those are quo features presumably similar to those of Bing-with-ChatGPT. In short: ask questions in natural language and get drawn out sentences as answers.
