Frans Bauer, whose real name is François van Dooren, was born on December 30, 1973 in Roosendaal. In 1987 he started his music career, with his first single Are You Young. However, the folk singer only became known in 1992, when he participated in the program All You Need Is Love. Two years later he broke through as a singer with When Stars Are In The Sky.
