Aerial work platform loses oil at Oostersluis, large oil trail on road surface

Groningen – Motorists should expect delays at the Oostersluis on Monday early evening. The road surface is being cleaned after oil spilled on the road surface earlier in the afternoon.

Eyewitnesses say that it is a large oil trail. An aerial work platform drove on the Oostersluisweg to the Rijksweg. Probably due to a hydraulic leak, the vehicle left an oil trail. The driver of the aerial platform stopped the vehicle after other motorists pointed out the leak to him. Action was immediately taken and a clean-up campaign was started. Various vehicles were used for this.

As a result of the cleaning work, other traffic must expect delays.
