1 arrest after robbery at AH Dierenriemstraat

Groningen – Sunday evening around 21:00 a robbery took place at a supermarket on the Dierenriemstraat in Groningen.

A supermarket employee was allegedly threatened with a knife, but was not injured. After the robbery, the suspect fled with an unknown amount of money.

A little later, around 9:15 p.m., the police arrested a suspect in the vicinity of the Elzenlaan. The man is taken to the police station. The police will investigate.
